The included four power scope is not a brand name scope and is certainly from Asia. However, if you don’t have a lot of strength the Parker Sidewinder crank will work on the PSE Fang with no alterations. With a draw weight of 155 pounds, the Fang isn’t hard to cock. The Fang is 15.5” axle-to-axle when cocked and just over 36 inches long. The PSE Fa ng is well suited for men, women, and even young shooters. Again, excellent for a low priced crossbow. There is very little creep and the trigger weight on our test model had a 3.6 pound trigger pull. This is just under the advertised speed but still incredibly fast for a crossbow at this price. We tested a random bow from our inventory and hit speeds at around 340 feet per second. The Fang is advertised to shoot 345 feet per second. Since getting a good buck with a crossbow on TV is high on my bucket list-while I have killed my share of deer with vertical bows, I have never even shot a crossbow, much less bagged a deer with one-this article was of interest.
